The home Ray Zadd and his family occupied in the 1970's was is one of the Brecksville's properties served by its own water well. When the pump needed to be shipped to Chicago for repairs in the mid-1980s, Ray made three trips to UPS before he had it packaged properly for shipping. Realizing that he couldn't be the only one facing this difficulty, Ray and his wife decided it was time for Brecksville to have a store specializing in shipping and packaging services. They founded Mail Hub Plus Books in 1987 in a small, 900 square foot location.In 1977 their growth neccesitated a move into their current 3,800 square foot facility on Brecksville Road. We visited with Ray recently, and listened as he outlined his company's services and offerings;
Mail Hub Plus Books offers complete shipping and packaging solutions utilizing the services of UPS, FedEx, DHL, and the United States Postal Service. We provide mailbox rentals, laminating, and have a complete copy service featuring color copies, blueprints, and high speed digital copying. We also have a complete print shop specializing in business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and brochures in one, two, and full color. In addition, we have a book store and a video/DVD rental center. The key to our success has been providing our customers with excellent customer service. If we can do something for you and you need it this afternoon, we'll have it ready this afternoon. If you tell us you need it in an hour, it'll be done in an hour.
We provide many commercial businesses and organizations with faxing service and business mailing services that range in size from 200 pieces to 10,000 pieces. When you give us your database, we will print your mailing, fold it, inkjet the address in place, affix the postage, and send it directly to the Post Office for you.
When we moved to our present location we dedicated part of the space to our bookstore where we've become well known for our prompt, courteous service. We have approximately 3,000 titles on the shelf, and have access to books from ten major distributors across the country. If you need a book and you need it quickly, we can get it for you within two days. We offer additional discounts to book clubs, and we also supply the high school and middle school with their extra-curricular reading materials.
Mail Hub Plus Books has a video/DVD rental operation. We have all the latest DVDs and our prices are very competitive. We provide videos/DVDs on a rental basis, and occasionally have some of them for sale, also. Our extended hours are very convenient for our customers, and we don't have a membership charge for our rentals.
