Len Meola began his heating and air conditioning business in 1970 by repairing air conditioners and furnaces part-time for family, friends, and neighbors. Finding he really enjoyed the business, he attended the Westside Institute of Technology, received degrees in duct design and combustion engineering, and in 1974 was licensed by the City of Cleveland as an HVAC Contractor. He and his wife Terri founded Len's Refrigeration, A/C & Heating, Inc. in Parma in 1974, and in 1988 moved their business to North Royalton. After twenty years at their present location, Len and Terri are moving their company to a larger and more modern facility to better serve their customers. The new address at 11266 Royalton Road is right around the corner from their present location. As of September 2006, they will be operating out of their new facility. We met with Len and Terri recently, and listened as they provided this overview of their steadily growing company;
Len's Heating & Air Conditioning specializes in repair, sales, and installation of a complete line of HVAC products, including furnaces, boilers, water heaters, air conditioners, heat pumps, humidifiers, air cleaners, and fabrication of duct work and sheet metal components. We are Comfort Specialists for Trane®, and are members of the Better Business Bureau, ACCA, RSES, and IBR. Our service area ranges from Solon and Bainbridge in the east to Lorain County in the west, and as far south as Brunswick, Medina, and Richfield.
