After holding a position in the sales field for a number of years, Dr. Edward S. Brandon, D.D.S. began to search for a career that would enable him to build a stable life for his family without the need to continually relocate while traversing the corporate ladder. He returned to school, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. In 1975 he founded his practice in the Brecksville Shopping Center, and in 2003 moved to his larger facility at 8871 Brecksville Road. We met with Dr. Brandon recently, and listened as he described his practice and the services he provides;

I offer a very friendly, family oriented general dentistry practice. My services include teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, fillings, prosthetic dentistry, surgeries, and root canals.

My wife Charlotte designed and decorated our entire office, including our "Children's Corner". which is a magnificent place for children to busy themselves and relax at the dental office. Our goal is to care for your children as we would our own. In addition to teaching children proper dental hygiene, we advocate dental sealants as safe, painless, and a low-cost way to help protect your child's molars from decay. The chewing surfaces of molars have tiny grooves that form as the teeth develop, and this is where most decay occurs since a toothbrush cannot reach into the grooves to remove food and bacteria. We bond a thin plastic coating (sealant) to the surfaces of the molars to form a hard, protective barrier that keeps food and bacteria from lodging in the fissures of the teeth.

We strive to stay up-to-date with the latest dental technology by attending several seminars throughout the year. I routinely average more than twice the required continuing education classes required by the Ohio State Dental Board for license renewal every two years.

I attribute much of my success to my family's support, and the superior efforts of my staff which includes Office Coordinator Kim Suster, my chair-side assistant Bernice Kane, our receptionist Nichole Suster, and Dental Hygienists Linda Morford, Mira Boskovic, Kathy King, and Tina Stahl.
